Weston brings his third chapter with the rule of arguments by analogy. It is somewhat a contradiction to rule 7, which stated the need for providing multiple examples as premises for backing a generalization. The analogy rule states that it could be sufficient to provide a single premise which should be accurate and true and the entity referred to in the premise should be analogous to the entity spoken about in the conclusion of the argument.
